Ongoing service: client briefings 2010: these client briefings provide our clients to meet some of the fund manager representatives from businesses that are engaged to manage their investment portfolios, in both superannuation and non-superannuation accounts.
We have now concluded the round of mid-year Client Briefings: those who attended and took advantage of this aspect of their service offering were treated to some interesting facts from our (then) associate Peter Cashman; from Zurich’s Brad Mackay (alt. Ray Killey); and from Ascalon H3 Global Investors’ Dale Robinson.
The events were held in Warwick and Noosa in late March; and Brisbane this week. Attendees have feedback that they appreciated the program and learned a number of things from the briefings: Peter put some perspective to the recovery and growth in the various asset classes for the 2009 calendar year; Brad and Ray presented the Zurich view on the economic and market outlook for 2010; whilst Dale made the case for including commodities as an asset class in a balanced diversified portfolio – highlighting the lack of ‘correlation’ between commodities and equities.
Having run five series of these briefings in the current format, we are looking to bring a new style of event to you for our next round: look for invitations later this year. We look forward to continuing this well-received ongoing service: client briefings, adding value to our clients.
